Security Assessments

The Security Assessment assists in reviewing the overall security of your site, which includes the current state of existing security programs and related policies. The Security Assessment also facilitates the process of making security improvements and implementing specific security protocols, procedures and actions to solve any observed security or safety risks and/or deficiencies.

During a full Security Assessment of your location, all aspects of the security program, to include an internal and external review, physical security components, and related policies shall be examined. Any weaknesses, deficiencies or safety security risks that are identified during the assessment, will be addressed through a Security Assessment Report, also known as the Action Plan. In addition, any opportunities to reduce security costs or improve overall security operations through more efficient means will be noted.

The Security Assessment is custom tailored to meet your needs and includes the following actions:

  • Risk identification and analysis for the physical site (interior and exterior).
  •  Detailed threat and vulnerability assessment.
  • Review of the physical site and facility security.
  • Review of degree of compliance with recognized Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design approaches and principles.
  • Review of degree of compliance with security requirements and protocols that are specific to the client’s related industry.
  • Analysis of the relevant crime data for the area, to include loss history, law enforcement calls for service, crime statistics, and crime forecast reports.
  • Review of facility current operating procedures and any SOPs relating to security and safety.
  • Review of physical security systems and any electronic security systems.
  • Review of security policies and procedures that are currently being utilized.
  • Review of security management and any security personnel (if applicable).
  • Evaluation of present security program and identification of any weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
  • Development of recommendations and an plan of action for security improvements.
  • Identification of short-term and long-term goals to include related costs.
  • Prioritization of the recommendations and the development of implementation plan.
  • Preparation of written Security Assessment Report (Action Plan).
